Discover a haven of wide-open spaces bursting with wetland nature at WWT’s nine centres across the UK and learn about WWT’s work to create and protect wetlands for people and wildlife around the world. It’s perfect for family days out.
Try spotting a kingfisher or two and watch otters play, learn more about birds, such as why are flamingos pink and what to feed swans – as they all thrive in these amazing nature reserves. Each centre offers a unique and unforgettable wetland experience.

Name of event: Wild bird feed at WWT Martin Mere
About the event: Join the WWT’s wardens each afternoon for their daily wild bird feed of hundreds of Whooper swans. Listen to their commentary to find out more about these amazing birds and why they choose to spend their winters at Martin Mere.
When: 14 October 2024 – 31 March 2025
Location: Martin Mere Wetland Centre. The 3pm session from the Discovery Hide includes live commentary (the 3.30pm session from the Raines Observatory has no commentary).
Admission: Free entry to this event is included with your Boundless access to WWT.
Tell me more: WWT also host a daily guide session from the Discovery Hide. This starts at 2pm and will tell you all you need to know about migratory species and how to identify the birds.
Name of event: Free family Christmas workshops at WWT London
About the event: Join us to celebrate the season of giving as we create beautiful gifts in these fun family workshops. Find your creative streak and make thank-you cards using seeded paper, which will grow into pretty wildflowers as a lasting memory of the festive season. Plus, you can help support your local wildlife by making pine-cone bird feeders!
When: Every weekend from 7 December 2024 – 5 January 2025 at 11am and 2pm.
Location: London Wetland Centre

Unlimited access to all nine WWT centres is available with Boundless and Boundless Plus.
WWT tickets are only valid for current Boundless members and their guests. All WWT tickets must be pre-booked in advance of visit. Members must be present and show their booking confirmation and membership card with a valid form of photo identification.
If you’re unable to show a valid Boundless membership card and corresponding photo ID, you’ll be asked to pay the difference up to the normal price of admission at the entry gate in order to be admitted.
Tickets purchased in excess of member entitlement will be charged at the standard admission rate.
Admission benefits are only available on general admission. Excludes ticketed events.
